"Jewell"

Jewell is our eagerly awaited import from Belgium. She brings with her some wonderful "old' European lines and comes from one of the most well respected breeders in Europe. Jewell's mother Wrinkle Famous Alhavant won Best of Breed puppy at 2008 Crufts. Due to a brown snake bite in early September 2012, Jewell's show season came to a halt. Miraculously she made a fully recovery although we have decided not to continue with her show career for now....instead she produced a stunning litter for us on August 8th,2013! *** BRILLIANT DEBUT IN INTERMEDIATE CLASS *** (at 18 months & 1 day) ~ JEWELL GOES BOB, BEST INTERMEDIATE IN GROUP & BEST INTERMEDIATE IN SHOW ~ Jewell started the 2012 year in the 'Junior' ranks in great style ~ Multi BOB, 10 x BEST JUNIOR IN GROUPS & 3 x BEST JUNIOR IN SHOWS ~ from only 4 shows in Australia in 2011 * BEST PUPPY IN SHOW & 2 x BEST PUPPY IN GROUP & 2 x BOB* results from Europe include ~ Multi BEST IN SHOW "Puppy" & RUBIS "Puppy" ~ We have high hopes for this girl in the conformation ring in Australia, but as with all of the hounds here at Hunterhound, she will also enjoy time in harness and in the bush during tracking season. We are thrilled to advise that Jewell arrived safely into Australia late September 2011.
